to find mutualism between our global economy and our environment.

Just a few of the barriers we face:

-lower cost is instinctively preferred for all consumers (greed), rather than quality or environmental responsibility.

-often, by-products of industry are harmful to the environment (why not research a method of production without any negative byproducts, or better yet, a method producing useful/repairing waste?)

-instinctively, humans put their own livelihoods first, disregarding any surrounding consequences to others.

-our rapid population growth, and our failure to recognize certain environmental laws (every species goes extinct, with population spikes come population dives, limited solar capital, a population imbalance in an ecosystem damages all species in it, including humans).

..and to name a few cliches', global warming, widespread oceanic pollution, dependence on drugs to fight diseases, destruction of valuable resources, such as the rain forest or coral reefs.

If any progress is to be made, it is through mass realization and interest. Join a movement, make a difference.
